Try something like:

switch ($_GET['ORDER']) {
case 'ASC' :
case 'DESC' :
case 'RAND' :
$SPORDER = $_GET['ORDER'];
break;
default :
$SPORDER = 'ASC';
}}
else {
$SPORDER = 'ASC';
}
