It sounds like you may want to set the page to not be cached. Here's
what I use to prevent pages from being cached:
function noCacheHeaders() {
header('Expires: Tue, 1 Jan 1980 12:00:00 GMT');
header('Last-Modified: ' . gmdate('D, d M Y H:i:s') . ' GMT');
header('Cache-Control: no-store, no-cache, must-revalidate,
post-check=0, pre-check=0, no-transform');
header('Pragma: no-cache');
}
This should prevent proxies, browsers, etc from caching your pages.
