If you start a task at 10:00 and finish at 10:15, how long did it take?

That depends. What time zone? Are the start and finish times in the same time zones? Is this a 24 hour clock? If not, is this am or pm? If one time is am, is the other pm? If one time is pm, is the other am? And I haven't even touched on the possibilities of time travel, and ruptures in the space-time continuum.
