I know this has been discussed in the past - but I wanted to check in with the group to see if anything has changed.
I have the opportunity to start with a clean webserver running Apache 22.0.40 with PHP 4.3.3 This is a fairly high volume site that will be run on here - with a great deal of MYSQL interaction. In the past I have read that php is not ready for apache 2 (or vice versa - whatever the case...) and there are some problems with stability. Is this still the case? Is it time to run a production site with this combo? Any experiences with other high volume sites running an apache 2/php combo? Any suggestions are appreciated :) TIA -- Cheers Mike Morton **************************************************** * * Tel: 905-465-1263 * Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] * **************************************************** "Indeed, it would not be an exaggeration to describe the history of the computer industry for the past decade as a massive effort to keep up with Apple." - Byte Magazine Given infinite time, 100 monkeys could type out the complete works of Shakespeare.
