[PHP] Loading an image file as a PHP file.

To Do:

I would like to call image /user/mysite/image_01.jpg using something like 
/user/mysite/public_html/loadimage.php?image=1

is this a simple procedure or hard ...

any suggestions or someone want to point me in the right direcion/ Phil
