Well, that's a fairly braindead suggestion for two reasons: (1) If he needs $_POST['applicant'], then he'll need $_POST['submit'] too. (2) If $_POST['submit'] isn't set, how (or maybe why) in the world did he get into this script anyway? My final shot would be -- which version of PHP are you running? If it's earlier than 4.1 (unlikely, I know, but...), then you'll need to do $HTTP_POST_VARS['applicant'] instead of $_POST['applicant']. Cheers!
