[PHP] OCILogOn and OCILogOff

Hi,
It seems to me that OCILogOff does not return anything. Evenif I do 
something like this:

$conn = OCILogOn("user", "passwd", "db");
$logoff = OCILogOff($conn);

$logoff is always empty. Does anyone know about this? any help?
