Hi all, It's time for the first set of core committee elections after the initial set, and also time for another secretary election.
*Alessandro* will be running both of the two elections. The *timetable* for both will be as follows (all dates *January*), subject to change by notification: - *1st: Nominations open* - 11th: Nominations close - *12th: Vote begins * - *26th: Vote ends * - *28th: New secretary/CC members in post* The people whos terms are expiring are: - Secretary: Michael Cullum - CC Member: Chris Tankersley - CC Member: Graham Daniels - CC Member: Korvin Szanto - CC Member: Stefano Torresi Any of the above may wish to stand for re-election to a fresh 2-year term if they wish, others are also encouraged to stand for election. *Should you wish to stand for Secretary or Core Committee member, I would highly recommend reaching out to an existing FIG secretary to discuss what the role entails; you then need to find someone to nominate you.* Full details on how the election works will be announced by Alessandro as the timetable progresses and you can read they bylaws for information on the roles <http://www.php-fig.org/bylaws/mission-and-structure/> and elections <http://www.php-fig.org/bylaws/elections-and-vacancies/>. -- Michael Cullum PHP FIG Secretary -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "PHP Framework Interoperability Group" group.
