This bug is just another instance of PHP's current near-complete lack of orthogonality. This is a 'serious flaw' more than a bug, but there is no 'fundemental problems with the language that no one will admit to' database. Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-07-27 18:28:33] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sorry, but your problem does not imply a bug in PHP itself. For a list of more appropriate places to ask for help using PHP, please visit http://www.php.net/support.php as this bug system is not the appropriate forum for asking support questions. Due to the volume of reports we can not explain in detail here why your report is not a bug. The support channels will be able to provide an explanation for you. Thank you for your interest in PHP. Because print & echo are language constructs, not functions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2005-07-27 18:26:54] wckits at rit dot edu Description: ------------ The array_map will not accept print() or echo() as callback functions. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=33889&edit=1
