From: mp at webfactory dot de Operating system: Linux PHP version: 5.3.21 Package: Streams related Bug Type: Bug Bug description:php://stderr stream logs to global apache log file instead of virtual host file
Description: ------------ When running under Apache, it would be nice if output written to php://stderr would get to the error log. This is default for CGI processes (http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.2/logs.html) and the way trigger_error works. Actually, this is a duplicate of bug 51304, which has been set to "no feedback" and the OP seems no longer be interested to help. (Otherwise, please educate me how I can re-open that bug and become responsible for providing the feedback required?) -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=64158&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=trysnapshot54 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=fixed Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=64158&r=mysqlcfg
