A string of '-1 day 2 hours 3 minutes 4 seconds' doesn't work. Test script: --------------- $time = strtotime('+3 days 2 hours 3 minutes 4 seconds') - time(); $expectedDiff = 3 * 24 * 60 * 60 + 2 * 60 * 60 + 3 * 60 + 4; $time = strtotime('-3 days 2 hours 3 minutes 4 seconds') - time(); $expectedDiff = 3 * 24 * 60 * 60 + 2 * 60 * 60 + 3 * 60 + 4; Expected result: ---------------- + and - should be the same.
