From: Operating system: Windows Vista 32Bit PHP version: 5.3.6 Package: Arrays related Bug Type: Feature/Change Request Bug description:idea/request for new array_function
Description: ------------ I realy would prefer a function for associative arrays, enableing to get an index-specific key. This would be usefull especialy for big array's, so you have to iterate through them, to get a specific key. The other advantage would be, that you could iterate through the array manually with a for-loop, without having to store all the key's in a temporary array using array_keys() Test script: --------------- <?php $arr = array("foo" => 'bar', "secondFoo" => 'anyval'); echo array_getKeyAt($arr, 1); ?> Expected result: ---------------- output would be: secondFoo Actual result: -------------- [function not implemented yet afaik] -- Edit bug report at https://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=55095&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.2): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=trysnapshot52 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (trunk): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=trysnapshottrunk Fixed in SVN: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=fixed Fixed in SVN and need be documented: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=needdocs Fixed in release: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=needscript Try newer version: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=oldversion Not developer issue: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=support Expected behavior: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=notwrong Not enough info: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=submittedtwice register_globals: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=php4 Daylight Savings: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=dst IIS Stability: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=gnused Floating point limitations: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=float No Zend Extensions: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=mysqlcfg Try a snapshot (PHP 5.4): https://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=55095&r=trysnapshot54
