ID: 49145 Comment by: holger dot dippel at umassd dot edu Reported by: dhathorn at uchicago dot edu Summary: php command line segmentation fault Status: Closed Type: Bug Package: Reproducible crash Operating System: Linux (RedHat RHEL4) PHP Version: 5.3SVN-2009-08-03 (snap) New Comment: No kidding. I had compiled PHP 5.3.2 from the source on RedHat AS 2.6.9 with a general linux MySQL server/client 5.0.27 on the same machine. pear install and pecl would abort with a Segmentation Fault. Upgraded to MySQL 5.1.45 server/client (nothing else changed), reconfigured/recompiled PHP, and pear/pecl works like a charm.
