From: balusc at gmail dot com Operating system: Windows XP PHP version: 5.3.1 PHP Bug Type: Scripting Engine problem Bug description: $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] incorrectly returns the HTTP Host header
Description: ------------ Environment: XAMPP 1.7.3 with Apache HTTPD 2.2.14 and PHP 5.3.1 on Windows XP SP3. Problem: $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] incorrectly returns the HTTP Host header. The $_SERVER['SERVER_NAME'] is supposed to return the server name as definied in the webserver. In this case, the ServerName property of Apache HTTPD's httpd.conf. It instead returns the HTTP Host header. This is likely a bug in the php5_module used. There was a similar bug report earlier http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=16867 but it was forwarded to Apache developers while the problem is likely in the php5_module. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=51101&edit=1 -- Try a snapshot (PHP 5.2): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=trysnapshot52 Try a snapshot (PHP 5.3): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=trysnapshot53 Try a snapshot (PHP 6.0): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=trysnapshot60 Fixed in SVN: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=fixed Fixed in SVN and need be documented: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=needdocs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=alreadyfixed Need backtrace: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=needtrace Need Reproduce Script: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=needscript Try newer version: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=oldversion Not developer issue: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=notenoughinfo Submitted twice: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=submittedtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=globals PHP 4 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=php4 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=float No Zend Extensions: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=nozend MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=51101&r=mysqlcfg
