Just as a side note: running a pre release of PHP is most likely more stable than running an Apache 2... Derick Previous Comments: ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-15 13:04:53] [EMAIL PROTECTED] That's all fine, and I know that it works when I use the dll from the latest snapshot/nightly. What I don't want is to run Apache 2.0.43 with a development build of PHP. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-14 18:12:51] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Yes, we will make sure that it works..(no bug here) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-14 04:46:26] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Please try using this CVS snapshot: http://snaps.php.net/php4-latest.tar.gz For Windows: http://snaps.php.net/win32/php4-win32-latest.zip ------------------------------------------------------------------------ [2002-10-14 04:05:48] [EMAIL PROTECTED] When installing the latest version of Apache2, incompatibility issues arise with the sapi-dll. This time (PHP 4.2.3/Apache 2.0.43) the error-message is about the .c header being incompatible with this Apache version. Solution is to download the latest stable build, extract the php4apache2.dll and replace the original dll with the latest stable. You need to download a 4.6Mb snapshot to extract the 24kb file. Please make sure the next release of an Apache2 server is accompanied by the release a new sapi-dll. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Edit this bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=19898&edit=1
