Using tcsh, and bash... it's a little strange i've never seen that error before. Output line too long. gcc: ext/xml/expat/xm: No such file or directory make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1 Reading specs from /usr/local/lib/gcc-lib/sparc-sun-solaris2.8/2.95.3/specs gcc version 2.95.3 20010315 (release) I have the same specific problem with gcc 3.0.3, and i am having problems getting 3.0.4 to install, so that isn't an option.
