Yi,

   I have made a start of it in the branch 
barry/2024-06-29/add-fortran-snesvisetcomputevariablebounds  but have not 
tested it.

   You should be able to do

   git fetch
   git checkout barry/2024-06-29/add-fortran-snesvisetcomputevariablebounds
  make all

   Please let me know if you have any difficulties
