process of asking for perkeep to be integrated into the f-droid tree.
(I think that's happening over

I tried to build the APK myself and ran into a couple of hurdles, probably 
stemming from bitrot in the docker machinery.
(I initially tried to build on my archlinux machine but ran into the same 
pain points.)

I've submitted #1611 to address the Docker-based build bitrot, as best as I 
could.
