Dear PEBL Team,

I am a PhD student working in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
in the Pediatric Teaching Hospital of the University of Pécs, Hungary.

My research area focuses on the prevalence of psychiatric disorders and the
executive and cognitive control deficit in children with cleft lip and palate (
both syndromic and non-syndromic). Our study group includes children from 6-18
years of age whom are treated in our clinic by the Cleft Team under the
Department of Pediatric Surgery.

The thorough examination by the PEBL test battery confirmed it to be the
perfect instrument for this evaluation and an irreplaecable asset to my
research. However, prior to its use, I would like to ask a few questions
regarding the program.

  * I am familiar with most of the subtest available in the program. However,
I was wondering if most of them fit the study population's age group (6-18
years old).

  * I read that the test could be translated to different languages, is the
Hungarian language an option? For example, wether the Word Fluency Task's
Hungarian version would keep it's validity (regarding the quality of the
translation, as wording-grammar is an important component of the test).

Thank you for your time. I look both hopefully and forwards to our future
collaboration.

Sincerely,

Dr. Kinga Amália Sándor-Bajusz
