Hi, Brian Yes i was meaning using TSIG for Dynamic DNS update. Thanks for your answer i will at least stop struggling to make this working if it's not supported
The idea of importing zones to a backend that support TSIG DDNS could unfreeze the migrating. This is somehow quite frustrating because i before with my old bind i didn't need such sql backend. But now i have path to follow and discuss with my team Thanks BENOIT Frederic ________________________________ De : Brian Candler <b.cand...@pobox.com> Envoyé : lundi 24 août 2020 15:27 À : Frédéric Benoit <frederic.ben...@greencom-networks.com>; pdns-users@mailman.powerdns.com <pdns-users@mailman.powerdns.com> Objet : Re: [Pdns-users] TSIG with bind backend On 24/08/2020 14:22, Brian Candler via Pdns-users wrote: > One option is to import your BIND zone files into one of the database > backends to powerDNS. I should have added: one of the big benefits to using a SQL backend is that you can use native SQL replication (e.g. mysql replication or psql replication). This means you get near-instantaneous synchronization and can completely forget about AXFR, notifies, bumping serial numbers etc.
