Hi Folks, I really doubt if PowerDNS natively supports managed DNS services or GTM [Global traffic Manager] like they monitor the hosts or records and if they don't receive a response they disable the record from zone. So that end user will not be able to reach to the ISP link which is down and as soon as its up it again adds the record and populate the DB accordingly. Along with that I guess they also maintain a low TTL value so that records can be populated fast over the internet.
Now if not natively does anyone know if any other application or software can be integrated with PowerDNS to achieve the above results?
