Hey Steve, yes version 3.2 is definitely the latest recursor release and newer than version 3.1.7.2 . The spec file Bert uses to created the rpms can be found at http://wiki.powerdns.com/trac/browser/trunk/pdns/pdns/pdns-recursor.spec and it clearly states version 3.2 there so i can only guess that CentOS rpm might be a little confused by this latest version bump.
