On my most recent trip, I shot 99+ % with the 20-35 or the 50 1.4. I used the 50 mainly for speed reasons. I had never been a fan of wide angles, and I thought I would force myself to think in that mode. It worked fairly well, although the f4 was slow, and a tripod was impractical. One interesting problem I had was that this time of the year I kept getting my own shadow in the picture.
