I had not thought about this angle.  Let me practice my Pentax Ambassador
Goodwill Smile tonight.  More on this later...

But being that I had not given it much thought, missing paint in the
engraving has eventually happened on some of my older lenses after much use,
I guess it could be a Quality Control problem.

Maybe Pentax would like to look at my lens to study it and improve their
process.  Of course I would be more than willing to let them study it.
Though, not being fair to be left without a 77 to use it would be best if
they let me have another one <g>
