That's what I thought once - a good "feeder camera body" for Pentax. However, I think that there is a downside, too - some people might tend to think of ~Pentax~ as merely a student's brand, to be later replaced with a "more serious" brand such as Nikon or Canon , etc. There's no accounting for taste...
