One that I have bought, and which I recommend to people who are interested in this subject, is "Shooting Under Fire - the world of the war photographer", by Peter Howe. It is a collection of photos by, essays about and interviews with some of the top names of recent years: Patrick Chauvel, Philip Jones Griffiths, Ron Haviv, Catherine Leroy, Don McCullin, Susan Meiselas, Christopher Morris, James Nachtwey, Maggie Steber and Laurent van de Stock.
