Yes, sorry for the generalization. I played with the 330RS but not enough to learn it had those available options. Just for the record, the 230 also has manual focus. I really cannot help to think why the cameras higher than the 230 have such controls, and like the 230, manual focus. My guess is that 99% of the buyers would be using them as simple P&S, so such controls are not needed and don't justify the price increase (like double). Of course they have higher MP, but it's been my experience that the owners of digital cameras (I know quite a few now, and the list grows longer and longer.) don't print the photos, they view them on the computer, or email them, or do web design or graphics displays on monitors and such. The 230 gives me what I need, a nice small little thing that goes to the bars with me and da boys and hopefully with some hotties <g> (remember I'm still a student!) My only hangup is that the waterproof housing only fits the 330RS and higher. I'd like one!
