The comparisom is between the F3 and LX. The LX is 1/75 and the F3 1/80. Even at 1/60 there is no material difference between the speeds. F3/T's still seem to be quite expensive in good condition. One problem when buying used Nikon gear is that you don't know if it was owned by a PJ in a war zone, or a proctologist.
