I think you'll like the Zenitar. It does cover 180-degrees field of view, diagonally, though. It's a nice sharp lens and has fairly good flare resistance. I like the one that I have. Some folks think it is a little too "specialized". Like, how often will you use a fisheye? I use mine often enough to justify keeping it. I find that, with a Sto-Fen Omnibounce on my flash, it is really fun to shoot indoors with it. The Sto-Fen allows my flash to cover the whole field of view, nicely.

While it is called a "fisheye" it does not have the classic round 180 degree field of view associated with other fisheyes, it does have a rectangular image BUT with the distortion mentioned above. The distortion is greatest at the edges and can be minimized by keeping important straight edges toward the center of the image (according to the mimimalist users sheet). After using the Pentax 17-28 (?) and the Pentax Limited lens I just knew I had to have an extreme wide angle, but cannot afford the Pentax lenses. I also looked at the Vivitar and Phoenix wide angle zooms, but decided on a prime and that was the Zenitar. Nice piece of glass for about $120 USD on ebay. Now to shoot some film through that puppy.
