Hi, The weekend of 12/13th october 2002. Based at Kielder water, in the middle of Kielder Forest. Chalet accommodation @ �200/chalet from 11 - 14th = ~�11/person/night.
Access to: Hadrian's Wall Wildlife and art installations around the lake Lindisfarne & Northumberland coast Market towns of Hexham & Alston Moorland, including Spadeadam, the site of Blue Streak tests in the 1950's All within about 45minutes drive. Transport possible from Newcastle station or airport. Four listees (plus families) confirmed so far. I will leave it there for now. We will probably have to book up the chalets quite soon (say about the middle of August) as there is a sailing regatta on the lake that weekend, also. Another photop!
