Francis, here is a link to a small article on yellowish Takumar lenses. The 50/1.4 and 35/2 are the only ones mentionned to be prone to yellowing. Also, the author proposes a cure! But I've not done enough manual work in my life to be sure to cure a yellow Takumar on the first try...
