I forgot to check to see if he is a blue belly. But both bluebelly and
alligator lizards tend to be pretty chill.
The house is pretty warm, it IS June in Southern California. Even with
aircon, the house was about 75F/24C at midnight. I'm not sure how it got
in. I do have a tendency to leave the front door open if I'm going
between the house and the garage to deal with stuff, so it might have
wandered in during one of those periods.
As I posted a few minutes ago, I saw it this morning, herded it into a
corner, caught it and let it go outside.
I'm afraid that my mediocre housekeeping skills do not extend to keeping
the gap under my fridge surgically clean, so it picked up a fair bit of
mess and muck under there.

very patient Lizard too - it sat in the same place for all the shots.
