I just heard from Precision, my K-3III has been repaired and shipped, it should arrive back here on Monday. As to the superzoom, I just ordered an 18-250 off of Ebay for about $85 with shipping and tax. Despite the WR of the 18-270 I never really liked it as much as the 18-250 it replaced, and that would have been a lot more. I'll keep my eyes open for a WR 18-135 which is a nice balance of reach and image quality, as well as being WR.
