That's interesting..  I don't dislike "sound"  I just don't want the experience of looking at a photo and losing oneself in it to distract me or , in a way, tell me what I should be feeling when looking at it.   When I was in college I had a music radio show for a few months - I played the guitar and the recorder and tinkled the ivories a tiny bit.. I made a video about ten years ago of buttterflys which had music I had written  and was playing on a piano when I was in my 30's as background.. so it isn't all sound .. Just don't like other people picking it our for me :-)

anyway when youa re 86 and losing your hearing, everythign sounds weird.
