Er, no we haven’t and no it isn’t. 141,725 people from a party membership of 172,437 voted for one of two candidates chosen by the party’s MPs. Of those 141,725 people only 56% voted for her. So about 80,000 people in a population of about 47 million who can vote in a general election.
Fewer than half of her party’s MPs voted for her, so she doesn’t even command her own party in parliament. Some of them are already talking about getting rid of her before the next scheduled general election, in 2024. She herself has never achieved anything politically, except to become leader of her party, and that only because she has the support of the ultra right wing disaster capitalists, who are like hyenas, except that I quite like hyenas. Like the Republicans in the USA the Tories here never cease to amaze by their ability to find ever worse, more extreme scumbags to be their party leader. > On 5 Sep 2022, at 18:00, Daniel J.
