I noticed a couple of small Cabbage White butterflies in my patio garden
the other day. This motivated me to start planning my butterfly activities
for the year.

It is still too early for Monarchs. They need reliably warm weather, and
live milkweed on which to feed, neither of which I can provide in April.
So instead, I ordered a few Painted Lady larvae, which arrived April 18.
The come in a one cup size container with special food to nourish them
until they pupate.
