Thanks, Dan. Martin HIll Road was a treat and a lucky find. We were looking for some small town on the map and noticed this small road running through the forest. I guess paper maps and gazetteers still have their place.

Very nice gallery indeed!  Thanks for posting the link.
Many of us enjoy the "boondocks."  <G>

I especially like the framing and the clouds in  "Martin Hill Road, Buchanan State Forest."  Another personal favorite is the patterns of the fens in the Mount Hope Cemetery.

I hope to see more of your work here.

It's been a long time since I posted a GESO, though I am still
    shooting
as much as ever.  So here is a small gallery of shots from southern
Pennsylvania and western Maryland, taken in late August:

Almost everything was shot with an Mz-S and Tamron 28-75 f2.8 lens
    and a
variety of film stocks, mostly outdated. The shots from Old Bedford
Village were made with a Sigma EX 70-200 f2.8 lens.

We were on a genealogical vacation and my wife was hunting for
    info on
her ancestors who lived in those parts long ago, so the trip was
confined to small towns, back roads, cemeteries and the boondocks...
