These comments probably point to some differences in calibration of our displays. On my display, I would NOT increase the contrast on either of these, it would blow things out, and the foliage in the second one has already been massaged a bit to make it render as my eye saw it. They look essentially the same on my iPad Pro 11" display as they do on my Apple Thunderbolt 27" display (driven by the Mac mini and viewing in LR or from Flickr.com viewing with Safari). What I need to do now is to go walking with both the XCD21mm and the Aporia 24mm, shooting similar scenes with both lenses, to get a better feel of the differences. There's a big difference in the way the camera looks with the XCD 21, of course. It's a giggle: https://flic.kr/p/2miJM3E vs https://flic.kr/p/2mhM8Fn https://flic.kr/p/2miF1S3 vs https://flic.kr/p/2mhM8Fh :) G -- %(real_name)s Pentax-Discuss Mail List To unsubscribe send an email to [email protected] to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.
