Only wild life here is mostly the human kind. Although after Ashley's
departure in April it didn't take long before "Stuart LIttle" reappeared
, spotted
scurrying across my living room floor in midday...

I finally got around to looking up Phalaborwa on Google Maps. A 1900
km, 19 h drive from Cape Town (and I’m guessing that 100 km/h is
optimistic). I see Kruger Park to the east, and lots of other green
bits, but also vast mines to the south. Interesting.
