It was certainly interesting to watch them.  There were a couple of toms taking 
up the rear, with tails fanned out, one was letting his wings droop and drag on 
the ground.

Yes, much more comfortable.  When I built the bike, I put on a set of inline 
(cyclocross) brake levers on the top bar and since I was almost never in the 
drops, it was like having crazy narrow MB bars.  I used to have a 1 speed 
(which Mom used to have a baby seat on the back to carry me in) with mustache 
bars and it was very comfy to ride.

It’s a little under 40lbs/18kg

Cities are generally worse than rural or suburban areas.  It seems as if Asians 
have a different relationship with driving regulations than do Americans.
