South African are Ultra-Marathon mad. The annual 90km Comrades Marathon
between Pietermaritzburg & Durban is the premier event, attracting about

As you may know, Comrades is off for 2020 because of Covid but the
Comrades Marathon Association has created a "virtual" consolation race
to be run on Sun 14th June. We all run our chosen distance at our own
location. The submitted times will be mathematically converted to 90km
to produce a set of pseudo-Comrades results. All funds raised go to
AmaBediBedi, the Comrades charity. Friends may participate as sponsors
