Thanks Jack. Subash asked about my gear and I answered from memory. Just now I went into the metadata.
I have a 40mm “pancake” lens I use as a lens cap on one of the bodies when I pack the whole gear set for travel in my backpack. I actually use that (relatively discreet) lens mostly for candid shots of friends at dinner, etc. Leaving the 40mm aside, for the trip as whole my lens usage was 9% with the 15-30/2.8, 33% with the 24-70/2.8, and 58% with the 70-200/2.8. The first afternoon at Machu Picchu I did use the 70-200 for a few shots, 15% of my total, but 30% were with the 15-30 and 55% with the 24-70. When we went back into Machu Picchu the next morning, 100% of my shots were with the 24-70. stan > On Jul 16, 2018, at 4:46 AM, Jack Davis <[email protected]> wrote: > > Sounds like you were well armed and > certainly captured some spectacular > scenery. > J > Sent from my iPhone > >> On Jul 15, 2018, at 6:48 PM, Stan Halpin <[email protected]> wrote: >> >> Thanks Subash.
