thank you Ann, Paul and Jack and anyone else who had a look.... i don't know what he considers safe Ann, but they like (wikipedia) sunning themselves on tree tops. i know it for a fact that it comes to the tallest a round here (a silk cotton tree) and usually can be seen at the top...
