The lens appears (to me anyway) to have considerable spherical aberration, like a soft focus portrait lens. I wonder if that was intentional?
It has a ton of aberration. X-rays have so short wavelengths they are difficult do bend at all, so any lens designed to do that will bend visible wavelengths overmuch. So intentional by the makers of the lens, but I have to just take what comes with the package.
