Driving to my friend's house in Waldport I saw the Heron in a slough
on Alsea bay. I pulled over, grabbed the bigma on the K-3 was trying
to aim and the sound of the focus motor woke it up and it flew off.
That has given me yet another reason to want to upgrade the bigma to a
150-450, the silent focus motor.
C&C, particularly constructive suggestions appreciated as always. I
daresay the opportunities for photographing birds in this area are far
more plentiful than at home.
