I just got one this week!

I have only done a few prints with it so far. I don't see a lot of
difference in colour print quality between it and my old R1800. But for
black and white it is FAR superior. I was limited to matt paper if I
wanted a decent B+W print with the R1800, so it is great to be able to
use glossy paper.

Not really sure about the workflow, yet, but that seems to be similar
to the R1800. The P600 does not seem to be a very fast printer, though.
After you send a file to it, it sits there for awhile humming, clicking
and buzzing before it deigns to print it.

On the P600 you feed the fancy papers into the front of it. It then
seems to transport the paper up and out of a slot in the back...then
back in for printing. I keep my printer on a shelf in this sort of
closet/alcove next to my desk. It was a tight fit for the R1800 but it
worked. The P600 is a deeper printer, so I don't think I'll able to use
any papers which need to be fed from the front. Time to start looking
for somewhere else to put it...

It consumes ink during the changeover, but you probably knew that.

Not yet. I've only tried it with Ilford Heavyweight Duo Matt, Inkpress
Pro Gloss and Moab Exhibition Luster. Good results with all of them.
