Taka, you seem to have the same digicam as mine. The Minolta D7. It's a power hog. I'm using the Rayovac myself, and find them quite good. I've relegated my 1500 RS batts for the duty of powering the flash. Since my remotes and Palm can run for months on 2 batts, I usually keep a stack of cheap AAA alkalines on hand. Last deal was for 16 Maxell AAA's for $7 CDN.
For carrying my AA's, I bought cheap RS 4 AA holders. I drilled out the rivets holding the contacts, and marked one end with a + sign. When they are charged, I slip them in with the tip towards the + sign. When depleted, they go in reversed.
