:-)

I never had an M8, I started my digital Leicas with the M9 in 2012. I was
somewhat ambivalent towards it due to its perceptual sluggishness (it wasn't
really sluggish, but the noisy shutter re-cock sound made it feel that way).
Moving to the M-P typ 240 in 2015 was a wonderful upgrade and answered most of
the issues that I had with the M9; to me, that was the digital M that realized
the feel I expected. The M/M-D typ 262 is a refinement on the typ 240 in terms
of its feel and sensor performance, and the M-D suits me extremely well—the
lack of LCD and buttons simply makes the camera more of a pleasure to hold and
use. It feels very akin to using my M4-2 film body, albeit slightly larger and
heavier, and with a built-in meter.

I'm thoroughly delighted by it!
