I love ballheads but fine adjustments are near impossible. I find composition adjust helps a lot sometimes. I've always preferred 3 axis even if they can be slower in use. They are generally heavier than a ballhead so they have probably fallen out of favor a bit. I love sirui but I think all they make is ballheads. they are working checking out though are are really inexpensive. 6 year warranty too.
