When in Rarotonga we took a 4WD tour sitting in the back of an old Land Rover 
with a canvas roof.  It was set up a bit like a troop carrier with bench seats 
along each side.  Turns out the roof was quite leaky.  A downpour hit after the 
tour was finished and the driver unrolled the roof down the sides before taking 
us back to our resort.  We were all well and truly soaked by the time we were 
dropped off.  It was great fun, at least it wasn't cold.  On the tour I was 
impressed at the gradients the things could get up (and down).  I kept having 
to remind myself that it can't be that dangerous if they do it every day.  I 
think it looks a lot worse from inside than it really is.
